9 Easter Cookies & Cupcakes to Inspire You
Sometimes the creative ideas flow as fast as a waterfall, so much that you don’t have enough time to write them down or do a quick sketch. But yes, we all have those days when we need some inspiration and we can’t even think to put a pink bow around a bunny’s head to make it look cuter.
I’ve rounded up 10 great cookie and cupcake decorating ideas for Easter. So if you’re having a great creative day, let your brain explode even more with these super cute decorations. 1. Hoppy Easter Cookies
A simple design from TomKat Studio, yet so effective. Look at how cute those bows and tails are! Follow your favourite shortbread cookie and royal icing recipe (or check out these recipes here and here) then follow the step-by-step on how to get the perfect bunny.
2. Easter Egg Marshmallow Pops
These Marshmallow Pops from Living Locurto are so unique, and so damn adorable! I don’t know why but the thought of marshmallows with royal icing excites me. What’s better? They look amazing! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Egg shaped marshmallows (or just regular marshmallows)
- Royal icing

3. Easter Basket Cookies
There’s no instructions for this basked of cookies by LynInSingapore ones, but I adore how classy they are! They are to great not to use. Either make or buy a few colours of royal icing and use your imagination with some inspiration from these beautifully decorated shortbread cookies!
4. Carrot in The Garden Cupcakes
Do you feel your creative juices flowing yet? How great are these carrot cupcakes from Cincy’s Hopper!? Those little bunnies will definitely be digging into these carrots.
5. Easter Nest Cupcakes
I absolutely love the grass effect of this icing from Paris loves Pastry! It just shows how using the right tip, can really make or break your cake!

Using frosting to make an egg… Yes, you’re on to it My Baking Addiction! I think if I were to recreate this one, I would cut the chocolate egg in half to make it look like the egg has come from there.
